Should I wait till the 30 days is up to replace my contact or start a fresh pair now?

I noticed that one of my contacts had a rip on the edge so I throw it away. Now I am lost as if I should just wear my glasses until the 30 days are up to give my eyes a break and train myself to put eye drops (for drying out of my eyes that I have even with glasses) in or if I should just start a new pair now

Give your eyes a break from contacts for as long as you are willing to just wear your glasses! I have had contacts rip right out of the package, so I get another one out and go from there. One time I had a bad batch of contacts so I told the optometrist about it and they made it right and gave me whatever I needed for replacement. Sometimes if I have one rip I will wear the good one longer than 30 days just to keep them even. I usually start with new contacts at the first of the month but I wear my glasses way more often then contacts as there are several days during the week that I don't put them in. I wear my glasses mostly and only wear contacts in the evenings and weekends and that is not very often! I used to wear mostly contacts but my eyes feel a lot better with glasses and now I prefer glasses over contacts!
