Is liberal a bad word?

Republicans keep conflating liberalism with left-wing politics, but it doesn't matter since anything left of them is socialist anyway.

I am an independent. I oppose welfare, racial quotas, open borders, and appeasement of our enemies; but I believe in capitalism. I believe in abortion rights, regulation of businesses that are abusive or monopolistic, oppose prayer in publicly supported venues or events, and I support science.

So, what do you want to call me?

Lately, the way they've been acting, it's right up there with Nazi.

Liberal is a bad work if you hate the values that America is founded on.

"Liberals" generally don't like to be associated with a political party, because they don't want to give off the tribalized monkeys vibe that the Repukelicans give off.

The word has been bastardized from it's definition during the Age of Enlightenment. When Liberalism was about the advocating for individual Liberty, not collectivism.
