    No. Especially if he's a dog, but not called that in the language of the country where he lives. Chien - Hund etc.etc.

    If you feed him dog food and if he likes to chase cats, then he knows he is a dog.

    Yes. But most dogs aren't prejudiced and will gladly accept other dogs, even if they say "meow" or walk on their hind legs and are lacking in hair.
