Would you ever be friends with someone who has a different sexual orientation than you?

I'm bi, my husband is gay, our best man transitioned a few years back, our lead bridesmaid is straight, and one of our witnesses is asexual.
My friends are friends, why on earth would I restrict my friendships to people with the same sexuality as myself!

I'm straight, and I have several friends with different sexual orientations. Some of them were friends before they came out, and it didn't affect anything in our friendship when they did come out as bi/gay.

Yes, of course I would, and AM friends with people of different sexual orientations than me. I'm heterosexual. I have friends that are gay/lesbian, I have friends who are bisexual, I have a couple friends who are asexual (one is homoromantic asexual), and while it isn't the same thing as sexual orientation, I have friends and friendly acquaintances who are transgender. They are my friends because they are so nice and pleasant to be with; their sexual orientation or gender identity is irrelevant.
