It starts around $30,000, but the average fee is $45,000 and can go as high as $130,000.

Most people go up with a professional guide. The Sherpas don't like independents. So you have to pay a fee to them.
All together it is about $30,000 for a package holiday to the top (not including flights to Nepal).
A walker can go to the Everest base camp, which is still a good holiday, for about $3000.
