how to keep a conversation going with a girl?

So im in 8th grade and my girlfriend and I go to football games together every weekend. Everything will be goin great, we will be talking, and then 10 minutes in I just run out of things to say. My mind just goes blank. Help?

    Talk to her about her and listen attentively. Don't compere things about the two of you.

    Read a lot and be in social environments so that you will learn new things and can talk about it.
