What is your take on the death of Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi dying being considered the result of American forces?

I have the utmost respect for our soldiers, but this seems more like he would have died regardless of our troops pursuing him last night.

He would not have been wearing a suicide vest had he not planned to die that night, so it seems more like a victory in that he is dead, but it was ultimately a suicide that would have happened regardless.

Reports have it he wore a suicide vest all the time to avoid capture so your premise may be wrong

He might not have put on the suicide vest if our troops hadn't gone after him.

Or maybe he wore it everyday, so that he could set it off if they ever came for him. In other words, he wasn't planning to die that night; he was planning to die whatever night they came for him, so it was a result.

I don't think it's a coincidence that he died the same night that they did what they did.

I'm surprised Trump didn't live tweet about the raid, as it was happening, giving him a chance to escape or ambush our troops.

Probably why they waited until AFTER the raid was over to tell him.

No My take is a few corks will be a-popping in the SF community today.

Of course the douchebag in the hat would thumb this down like the weasel POS he is.

Our troops didn't kill him. He killed himself.

How do you know he does not frequently wear a vest or put it on once being pursued? You are clearly talking our of your backside. Unless you have served in Southwest Asia, you have no idea what you are talking about.

Not good that he committed suicide. It will serve as motivation for the others. That Is the usual tactic.
