There is a world of difference between these.

Cleverness is the ability to figure things out. Inventors are clever - they see a need, get an idea, and figure out a way to make it happen. Using gunpowder to make terrible weapons was clever. But was it wise? I don't think anyone would say that. Wisdom is about living well and helping others.

Clever is someone who is smart in the present.  Wise is someone who has lives through many things in life who can give factual advice to and not be BS.

A clever person knows a lot.

A wise person listens a lot and knows when to speak and when to remain silent.

A wise person has critical thinking skills to cut through to the core of a matter.

A clever person may be wise.

A wise person may be clever.
