How do i tell my friends I want to quit smoking?

its much healthier to "loose" you friends than your life to smoking

I don't understand the telling your friends part. If you're going to quit smoking, you just don't smoke. You don't have to tell anybody. In fact, do us all a favor and just quit smoking without talking about it. People who are quitting smoking are sometimes so super annoying with their presumption that the rest of are interested in their "personal journey to non-addiction." Just cut the cackle and then give a party when you've gone for a year without smoking. 

Hey, you can do it. But it has to be about your determination to be the non-smoker you were born to be, not about the drama of quitting in front of an audience. If you fall off the wagon, you climb right back on that wagon, you hear? Every day with no cigarettes your desire to smoke grows less and less. 

How about you give us weekly or monthly updates in this forum, let us know how you're doing? 

Don't worry about your friends.  This is your life, you are making an excellent choice for your health, breath and teeth.  Good for you.  So just quit.  But keep in mind, it might be easier to hang out with non smokers for a while to make it easier for you.

Why is there a need to tell them. In one year you can save enough money to pay the TAXES on a $15,000.00 car. In two you'd have 10% to put down on it. There are better things in life than cancer, lead by example.
