Did you know that you can deny a rape exam?

As in any procedure, you can refuse for any reason.  Some people say you should do it.  In 48 hours the evidence is tainted.  Another consideration is the victim reliving the incident.  A minor 15-17 can also deny that exam.  Case studies assert that a minor can be medically done by chemical restraint. But that she is a woman and the repercussions to the mother can result in estrangement and hate.

In that case,  the mother relented to not have it done.  Rape crisis personnel were also in favor of the 15-year-olds refusal.  I will find that occurrence and I would refuse because of the 6-8 hour exam.

In a lot of cases,  women will not testify because of privacy.  Come on the guy will know who testified.  Not me, not ever.

Update:

onclusion

To conflate a parent’s desire to pursue criminal justice with medical care is a serious error that could have negative consequences for the patient. Emergency physicians often are confronted with victims of violence and must sensitively address the difficult and complex dynamics that affect the victim and family members.

Update 2:

In some states, a volunteer from a rape crisis center will come to the hospital to support the patient and could help address parents’ concerns about their daughter’s physical and emotional needs as well as answer some of their questions about the criminal justice system [19-21].on the difficult healing ahead.

Update 3:

A physician should develop a discharge plan for the patient, which can include counseling from a trauma specialist. For the family in this case scenario, a discharge plan would be especially important and might help the parent and child work together on the difficult healing ahead.

I think getting the scumbag convicted is also important but if the victim really feels they can't, then you can't force them.  After being humiliated, they would have to endure more humiliation at a time when it was most difficult.  I feel for them.

You don't have to have a rape exam if you don't want one. But if I intended to prosecute my rapist I would have course what to have DNA evidence. you're not going to go very far in court if you say your honor he raped me if you don't have a rape exam that has some DNA.

You can't if the judicial order says so and denying it will incriminate you further .

Rape ...is actually the forcing of one human being on another human being against their will or in violation of their consent ....to actually make this work ...you have to eliminate gender from definition of rape and to make withdrawal of rape allegations as illegal and also severely punishable anyone who obstructs from leveling a rape allegation....this requires legislative amendments and saying to feminists and politicians please kiss your *** !!!

Source(s): MISOA...this approach of humanism will guarantee punishment for the guilty be they genuine or false and malicious as the case maybe !!!
