lie and the plaintiff was told it was a lie but included the story in the lawsuit anyway after they were told the story was a lie?

Lawsuits are won and lost based on evidence that can be proved. If, in court, you deny the allegations made against you then the plaintiff will have to prove them. Presumably he / she will not be able to do that if the accusations are false and, assuming that is the case, the lawsuit is very likely to be dismissed.

No.  What type of legal paper includes a "story?"  What type of lawsuit relies on witness statements BEFORE trial?

Your question makes NO legal sense.  No attorney includes a "story" which is not verified.  Witness "stories" are NOT included in the initial paperwork.

So let me get this straight - the Plaintiff files a lawsuit.  That lawsuit is partially based on "stories" by a witness.  No attorney would take that case.  The legal language is "upon information and belief."

I've seen witnesses discredited.  I'm not aware that any attorney will risk his/her professional license and reputation to include a "story."
