whats the most disgusting dish in your culture in your opinion? For me its chip shop food, steak and kidney pies and fry ups ?

In America the quality of the food that is readily available and affordable is horrible. 

We have Taco Bell, Burger King, McDonalds, Wendy's, Sonic, and all the rest of them......nearly one on every street corner. It's really sad.

The sport events serve the worst food. Hot dogs, hamburgers, chili-cheese fries, ice cream, cotton candy, pretzels.....Also very sad.

Our public schools have the worst ingredients in the foods that are served to our children. Tacos, hot dogs, hamburgers, mac-n-cheese....disgusting! My daughter refuses to eat at the school cafeterias. 

I would agree that America definitely has a obesity crisis.

But, 

It's not completely grim!

Slowly we are getting the odd "healthy fast food" restaurants such as Mad Greens or Pita Fusion, two of my favorites. 

I love the Chipotle Caesar wrap from Mad Greens or the falafel pita from Pita Fusion.

And

If I'm feeling really adventurous, I'll stroll through the local grocery, picking up salad ingredients that look tasty, rush home, cut it all up and throw it in a bowl and chow down!
