Do you season a brined turkey with salt or leave the salt off after you rinse the bird?

I put my 18 lb turkey in brine yesterday at about 10PM last night. Im going to take it out of the brine and put butter, in it and some celery and onions and pepper, but do I leave the salt out because its already brined?

no need to rinse the bird as there is nothing on the bird that needs to be rinsed off.

AND no you don't want to add salt to an already salted bird.

I brined my first bird and cooked it yesterday. I left out the salt, sprinkling the cavity with black pepper and garlic powder before stuffing it. Came out great, the breast meat was nice and juicy and sliced beautifully. I will always brine a turkey from here on.

No salt. If it really needs it after cooking you can always add salt. If you over salt it, that’s it.
