It isn't.  It's a one-party system now, the Business Party with two slightly different branches.

We have a two-party system because our election system is winner-take-all.  In such a system, eventually a vote for one party is also a vote against the other party, and preventing the other party from getting elected is sometimes a stronger motivation than support for one's own party's candidate.

For those who want more parties like in Europe, we'd have to tear up Article 1 of the Constitution, because we'd have to enact a system where representation was based on proportion of votes rather than simply the winner.

    I don't see that happening.

The last time the legislative branch was changed, with the 17th Amendment, it had a disastrous effect on this country.  It has caused what I call the century of Progressive assault on the Constitution.

The Jews arranged it that way to divide and conquer.

They can manipulate both sides, distract the masses, wage wars, and profit.

Zionists control both parties. The Jews even managed to flip the parties radical.

The Jews were behind the civil war, Nam, Desert Storm, both world wars.

If we had 3 or more, then in order to get some kind of majority actually running the country, the various parties have to form alliances, another perversion of democracy.

We have a party that tends to want to move forward socially and economically incrementally

We have a party that tends to want to invent a new society entirely.

In a country of 330 million people with so many diverse ideologies, the two party system is outdated. We need serious reforms so that we have at least 5 or 6 major parties. It's no coincidence that we have a record number of independents!

Humans were blaming one another way before we developed political parties
