Can anyone identify this spider for me please, it was in my house in the UK?

    Family Gnaphosidae, one of the ground spiders. Not dangerous at all.

    My pet ground spider tagged a finger and stung a little was the worst of it.

    it looks to me like a species of common 'house spider' ..not familiar with UK animals but we have similar spiders here .. theyre not particularly dangerous, if its actually on the interior of the house its probably either escaping from cold or looking for water ..
