How can I travel cheap from brownsville to houston TX?

    greyhound, it sucks..  I did Houston to California 52 hours of hell!!! People really stink!! I did whore bath a few times at stops..  I cant stand stinky people, its gross!!

    Greyhound is the only public transit between Brownsville and Houston.  Depending on the day and how far advance, you can book for as low as $36.  Actually, there are some mexican bus lines but they cost more in fact.

    Walking is the cheapest way I know of, maybe you could even hitchhike some of the way.
