Oh yeah, especially pressure to be happy and jolly. I hate that.

Nope. I buy something for my wife and vice versa. We don't buy for family nor do they buy for us. We stopped that decades ago. I can understand when you have kids getting stuff for them but for siblings and parents, none of us needed anything and trying to find stuff people could use got harder and harder.
