Would you send a steak back?

I went to a restaurant last night and ordered an 8oz fillet.  The steak was cooked perfectly and was tender,  juicy and the meat itself was like butter.  However,  as perfect as the meat was, the steak was bland as paper.  The meat was never touched by a pinch of salt.

Would you send the steak back?

Personally I am not a fan of a fillet, I do not think it has much flavor at all.

I would have commented when they cam to ask if everything was all right but I would not have sent it back. Very possible that it was just over looked if the kitchen was busy, easy to miss something if you are real busy.

Since you can not comment now you could send the restaurant an email and just mention that the meat was tender, cooked perfectly it just lacked seasoning.

Next time..order a Rib Eye or a Porterhouse or a T-bone. all three better in my opinion than the fillet.

you could add salt to it yourself or anything else that would ad more flavor.

Good god if I received a steak like that I would be more than happy to add some salt!  Did you also want them to chew it for you since you are unable to pick up a salt shaker?

Oh did you eat the steak?  Of course you did.

Depends on the quality of the steak.

Why would you send it back?

If you want more salt on it surely you can do that for yourself?

Yes, I would send the steak back. But don't restaurants that serve steak usually have Salt and Pepper on the table? If not, you could complain to them if you want to. Or cook at home lol
