1 rump roast of waterbuffalo  tough beef may be substituted. 1/2 to 2/3rds the size of your slow cooker. Add spiced water. Onion, Garlic, bay, pepper, to taste. No salt. Slow cook all night on low. Get up remove roast. It should still be a little tough. Add 1 pack if needed to broth beef gravy, Maybe a bullion cube. Taste broth. You may add salt at this time.  Make sure it has good flavor. Put rump roast back in broth. You may wish to slice it at this time. I often do. Place back in good broth. Fill slow cooker around it with small potatoes, green beans fresh not canned, carrot's,a sprinkle of Mug beans, {lintels} other depending on what is available. Slow cook 6 to 8 hours till vegetables are tender. Double slow cook waterbuffalo should be tender also now. Or a good tough rump of beef. You may need shop below W,Marts lowest grade of beef for a good tough one for this.

One of my favorite dips is also the simplest and has been known to my family for my entire life as Crab Dip.  Combine one small can of crab with a jar of cocktail sauce (Crosse & Blackwell is the best, IMO) and mix well.  If you wish to get a bit fancier you could add finely chopped green onions or chives and/or parsley.  Spread cream cheese on crackers (Ritz, preferably), then top with crab dip.  You can either keep the cheese and dip separate or place a block of cream cheese on a plate and cover with dip for a more interesting presentation.  There are many other variations on this theme online if you think this is too simple, but it really is good enough.  There are also many other great dips you could try that are often crowd favorites.
