Do you feel you only want to listen to songs made in 2020? What is a song in your mind today now Jan 1st?

I want to listen anything that I think sounds good. The oldest bands I listen to formed in the Late 60's, but I have a huge amount of respect for older music. Generally older music is better than modern music, but I listen to both old and new music.

Rockstar entered the Billboard charts in October 2006 and was on the charts a total of 49 weeks peaking at #6

So that brings to mind a very different but definitely Thematically Similar song by Weezer called Beverly Hills which charted in 2005 and peaked at Billboard #10

Since were not really talking about songs released in 2020 maybe we can just celebrate that fact that Rock and Roll has been on this planet for at least 74 Years and to prove it here's the oldest piece of rock and roll I've discovered so far from 1946 by Joe Turner:

WHAT?? Rockstar ~ Nickelback was a song made in 2005 NOT in 2020.

But NO I don't want to listen to only songs from 2020..I wanna listen to old songs more!! Much better sure some from 2019 have been good BUT 2020 is TWO DAYS IN so not really any good new songs as of yet!.

It's only been 2020 for a couple of days.  That's not a lot of time for the music of 2020 to come out and hit the charts.
