Firewalls like PFsense can get users passwords in the network?

if someone are accessing websites the firewall detects it, but the password too?

    I'd rather use a trusted software firewall like ZoneAlarm and Comodo than a router type that could be hacked. But then again,I really don't know anything about this PFSense you're refering to. Looks like it might be for businesses but for a personal computer it would seem to be a waste.

    If the site is secure (https) no, they can't see the password. If it's NOT secure (rare, but happens) then yes, anyone can see the password.

    If they're not using an encrypted connection (like with HTTPS), then it is possible, yes. Wireshark actually has a feature to do this.
