Well, some needs would still exist, although they would have to be redefined somewhat in relation to ab ai's capacities. It would still need to eat, or consume some form of energy to continue its existence, and while it wouldnt sleep as we understand it, there would almost certainly be a need to have some sort of reduced activity mode or down time to sort and collate gathered information. An AI would still have needs somewhat analogous to our own
