Rescued a squirrel with ruptured eye, no vets around for 5 hours?
We own rabbits but never a squirrel. Our neighbor brought him to us after a hawk punctured his eye, it's red and half out of his head but all the vets within 5 hours only work on cats and dogs.

Google wildlife rescue and where you live. THAT'S where the squirrel needs to go not a vet.

In MY area there are wildlife "rescuers" AND the SPCA. I don't know where you are. A Vet refused to see the squirrel? In my area that is odd.

Call a wildlife rehabilitator.
If you can't locate a rehabilitator then try contacting an animal shelter, humane society, animal control agency, nature center, or state wildlife agency.Just use Google to find one near you.

hmm, best to probably just let it go, theres usually laws against keeping a wild animal anyway, and unless it has vital organs damaged it will likely recover, just be alittle maimed ..
