  • I can't sleep at night, only during the day?

I've never had an issue like this. I'm not stressed, I'm not depressed, I feel normal. I have nothing to worry about. I'm not overthinking at night. I lay in bed while my body aches from work and is completely exhausted, but my mind is fully awake. I'm not bored but I somehow can't get tired at all. Then when it hits 7AM, I get dead tired and can't stay up anymore.

When I'm laying in bed, I feel too exhausted to get up and do something since I'm awake, so I feel like only laying in bed. Yet I can't ever fall asleep. Even when I get 2 hours of sleep then work an entire day, I still can't sleep all night until I have only a few hours left til work. Is this insomnia, and would small sleep medications like Zzzquill help?

  • My boss told me the tips get distributed, but they go all to her. Is this legal?

I'm almost 19, working at a minimum wage Wingstop which I enjoy but obviously the wage isn't sustainable. So I assumed I could depend on the tips because we get A LOT from how popular the foodplace is.

My boss (the store owner's daughter) told me during my interview that the tips get distributed every month to every employee depending on how many hours they worked (higher hours = more tip money).

A man had $13 in change yesterday and I asked if we were allowed to put it in the tip jar since it's such a large tip, and my co workers eyed me down saying to keep it for myself. My boss came over and said to put it in the tip jar. She walked off, and my co workers said she keeps ALL THE TIPS for herself and her family. I asked my manager (who is one less level under her) if this was true. He said he's not sure if she takes them for herself but he said it definitely does not go to the employees.

She also told another co worker that the tips go to holiday celebrations where we can take home food and cakes, which she said has never happened in the 3 years she's worked there. Another co worker said she never asked about tips. Almost every employee says the tips go straight to her pocket.

If she is taking all the tips,is this legal?

  • Did I pull a muscle?

About a month and a half ago, my right thigh started to feel extremely sore. Laying down and sleeping wouldn't help, cold compress wouldn't help. I took a 4 week break from work for family causes and thought the pain would go away. It was eased but I came back to work yesterday and it feels twice as worse as it was before. When I walk I have a huge limp because if I bend my leg at all it extremely hurts. I work for 10 hours a day 4 days a week. I only worked Monday and yesterday, and each day it gets worse. I can't walk down steps properly, I have to go one step every five seconds or so. When I lay on my stomach or side, my leg feels like there's lumps in it but when I run my hand over it, there's no lumps. It takes me about ten seconds to lever myself to sit down. I need to be constantly kneeling down at work and I can barely do that efficiently. I have to work two more days this week and I'm genuinely worried I won't be able to pull through it.

  • Do runts usually live to adulthood?

We have twelve kittens in all, two mothers, and one of the mother (Owl) has smaller kittens than Dotty's. Owl always has kittens who are noticeably smaller and sometimes less active than Dotty's, however, have never had complications. They've all grown to be healthy and normal, but there is one noticeable runt. They're about four weeks old but this one seems to have barely grown past 2 weeks. She drinks milk still while the other kittens all eat mushy food, occasionally drinking from the mothers still, but Bike (the runt) only drinks milk. I've tried rubbing food on her mouth because that's how the other kittens learned to eat. But she shows no interest in the food. She also sleeps A LOT, and NEVER plays with the other kittens. She never meows, but she always stares at things and looks like she's observing. Her fur has also always been very messed up, as if someone's been rubbing her a lot. But she's been this way since she was born. I keep them all in a large pen in my room so they don't get lost or anything. My mom came in to check on them and she immediately noticed Bike, saying she looked malournished and felt weak. She's definitely a runt, and she's made it this far but I'm worried she won't make it to adulthood.

  • Rescued a squirrel with ruptured eye, no vets around for 5 hours?

We own rabbits but never a squirrel. Our neighbor brought him to us after a hawk punctured his eye, it's red and half out of his head but all the vets within 5 hours only work on cats and dogs.

  • Is it safe to bake brownies in an oven that had plastic burned in it?

My dad left 3 loaves of bread with plastic wrap on them in the oven. I preheated the oven and now there's plastic left on the grill. Can I still bake brownies in the oven or is the plastic fumes going to make it bad?

  • How much are standard realistic-looking wigs?

My hair is damaged from previous bleaching, dye, dead ends, etc., and for years I've been thinking about just shaving my hair off and wearing a wig until it grows back but I want a realistic wig, not some halloween prop.

  • Can I redeem my coin money to my debit card/into cash without a fee if I do it at my own bank (Wells Fargo)?

I have a bucket of quarters, dimes, etc., that I've been saving up and if I use the coin machine at Walmart it charges me a fee of a dime per dollar. Can I do this without fee if I do it at my bank?

  • I'm so tired but there's a flying bug somewhere in my room and I can't sleep because it's scaring me and making me paranoid?

Every tiny little noise makes me jump because of it. It was making a buzzing noise earlier like it was stuck in a plastic bag or something but that stopped and I keep hearing small taps every now and then. The lights are off but I can't get to sleep

  • Ways to keep energized while pushing a cart in 90 degree weather?

All week this week is going to be 85 to 90 degrees Fahrenheit. I'll be pushing a heavy cart down a street for about four hours then take a 45min break then four hours again. Is there any way for me to stay hydrated or ways to not get tired so easily?

  • Are domestic rabbits good at finding hiding spots outside?

My bunny escaped from his hutch this morning at 7AM (11 hours ago). 4 hours ago I was sitting outside feeding him apples so he could come into his cage but he ran off into my neighbors yard when I reached for him and hasn't been seen since. Now there's a thunderstorm flood watch and a tornado warning and he hasn't come back.

  • Is a windbreaker part of my uniform?

My first day of work is today and I work at a children's theme park. I was given the uniforms (polo shirt, shorts, viser, belt, name tag and a windbreaker). I don't like the shirt and it's an outdoor park so I don't know if the windbreaker is going to be a problem or if I'm only allowed to wear it when it's raining.
