Good starter airsoft gun under $100?
I want to get started in airsoft but I'm not sure what to buy, shotgun? Sniper? AEG? What's the best style for under $100

Probably an electric rifle. Electric means it will have decent FPS and have full/semi auto. Very versatile and good at pretty much any range. Plus since it's electric you won't have to go through a ton of CO2 or constantly be changing them out.
The actual type of gun past that doesn't really matter. I'd look for the highest FPS you can find for that price range.
