    a)  Are you talking about Australia?

    b)  No, but I feel they should cooperate MORE closely and quickly with the State governments and their agencies -- City and Country fire brigades and forestry services. The use of the military should be brought on much earlier.

    c)  The "State Emergency Services", although heavily subsidized by the State governments, are run by local councils.

    Yes.It is their country,they technically own it and we pay them taxes.So they should take care of it.
