Should someone be able to log out of Twitter without an internet connection?
Regarding the offline logout process, this is an interesting brainstorm with my Twitter account. Is there any security issue that appears after the logout of the account without the internet?

I think "logging out" is not a good description of what is happening.
Software such as Twitter creates a connection and establishes a session. If you lose your connection that session ends. But the software will automatically establish a new session when you reconnect - it does this by storing your log in details - if you tell it to! As soon as you have broken your connection you are logged out at the server, it's just if your client software auto logs you back in on reconnection!

You can't log out of somewhere unless you can connect to their server. And, for that, you'd need an internet connection.
