How do I truly enjoy the process?
What i mean by this is my overall career in the film industry?
Its been 3 years and I'm making ground I've been on tv next to star people I've seen growing up small speaking roles. I have the agent the manager i booked small commercials big commercial and I audition frequently.
But i keep having the goal of making it big having that series regular on a major tv show. I came close and close i did.
But it bothers me when im not acting how do I stay humble and truly enjoy the process?
All i really want to do is to pay off my student debt. And take care of my mom and dad and maybe down the line have a wife and kids.

Don't underestimate the power of being a "journeyman" actor. Being an HITG ("Hey, it's that guy!) can be very lucrative. Steady work that pays for your SAG/AFTRA membership and healthcare won't make you millions but will make you comfortable. Commercial work can really pay the bills ("Flo" is laughing all the way to the bank).
And, you may just "make it". Look at J.K. Simmons - a HITG that won an Oscar, but still does commercials and VOs.
Bottom line: work, work, work

You can ask exactly the same question about any job - from selling hamburgers to performing brain surgery.
Basically - is the job a means to an end, or an end in itself? Do you work in order to earn enough to live your life; or is the job your life, and the associated income merely a pleasing by-product?
Only you can answer that question.
