If you are Todd Kalas or Geoff Blum or any astros announcer, how do you promote this team?

People seem to forget that Houston still has some very talented players so they'll be a contender again this season. They may not win 100+ games again but I think 95-99 wins isn't an unreasonable expectation.

The announcers won't have to do anything to "promote" the team. Unless a team is located in Tampa fans will come to the ballpark to watch a winner.

I wouldn't be surprised if Houston fans brought small trash cans and bats to bang on just to piss opposing teams off.

You promote it the same way you do every season. Teams have been stealing signs for the opposing teams since the beginning of the game, and likely, they're still going to be doing it this season and every season onward. I'm also sure that they don't give a rats a**, what the fans of the other teams think about anything.

You mention it once because you have to and then you focus on the games.  Fans don't want to hear about 3 years ago.
