I will be purchasing my first inground pool?

What led light could I purchase for my pool. Would a saltwater system be beneficial as to reduce maintenance on it.

You can use any light you want to use. The important part is making 100% sure the fixture is 100% water and air tight. You don't want the bulb or electrical parts getting wet and you don't want electrical current escaping in to the water zapping the swimmers.

Salt water systems can be used but they're a lot more work and more expensive. I suggest sticking with the freshwater systems. What would help the water clarity is to double filter the water. For example if it's 5000 gallons get a filter system that's rated for 10,000 gallons. It will keep the water in better condition over-filtering it and cause you to have to do maintenance on the filters less often.
