What can I do to lower my blood pressure quickly?

I have a medical test in 8 days and I need to pass this but last time my blood pressure was right up into the red zone.

There may have been some factors that went against me, I had very little sleep the night before and i had been drinking heavily and my stress level was off the charts.

I plan to go without booze and bacon and salty snacks this week and get some quality sleep which should make a difference, but is there anything else I can do to get me down to the 'normal' level so the doc can give me a medical clearance, other than the high blood pressure everything else works OK.

If you have high blood pressure, you should really seek the care of a doctor for it.

However, as you planned... the right amount of sleep, reduced stress and remaining relaxed may help lower it out of the "red zone".

If it still comes up a bit high, you can always say you are nervous about passing the test.

Quit smoking and drinking, get good sleep, exercise daily, deep breathing and eat heathy foods. Or you can cheat and be a stroke or heart attack waiting to happen. your choice live or die. Quick fix is to drink beet juice and lots of water and do deep breathing just before your exam. If your BP is 140/80 or less you should be good. One more thing take a Viagra it will lower your BP for a couple hours. You really should see a Doctor asap.

Stop smoking; avoid salt, stop drinking, exercise more.
