If a 3-foot midget jumps one foot in the air and a 5-foot girl watches while standing, while he's in the air, who is higher?

This is so annoying, I cannot tell Yahoo Answers! which category so it'll probably go into the Military section again.

Anyway, which is it?  The 5-foot girl's head is a foot higher than the midget's, but the midget's feet are a foot higher than the 5-foot girl's.  So which of the two people is higher?  Neither?  Both?  Or which one?

    The girl is. But the interesting part of this is how it would wind up in the military section.
