Why is it that no matter how hard I try everyone still seams to be disappointed in me?

I feel you friend.  IMO - just like bullies, some people need to put upon another in an effort to draw attention away from the fact that they are not so great, maybe needing to make someone else just as miserable as they are so they can go to bed at night thinking their life isn't as bad as yours, or they resent the fact that you are better than they are in some way and want to bring you down a peg or two.  What you need to do is know in your own mind that you are fine and in most cases just being used as a scapegoat  by those who are saying you stink.  People are going to put upon you till the day you die.  It means you need to know in your heart that you are a good decent respectful person who will always do their best so the haters comments mean nothing.  Feel sorry for the haters who have it so bad they put upon you, know you are not a problem, ignore the ignorant, and you go on wit yo bad self.  Good luck to you :)

Screw everyone else. Your life and your existence is not for tetherball games giving people chances to remark on what you are doing. Learn and start making decisions for yourself and then stand up for those decisions.

Heres a secret. Those who put your life in focus and such crappy lives that they want to ride yours and make you feel like such a failure as they feel in their own lives. No one is perfect. Everyone falls flat on their faces, it's called progression. You can't win without failure. So, if you make mistakes, let them know that I'm working on stuff which is more than I can say about you.

You are are fine. Don't let those people sucker you in by making your believe that everyone is perfect but you are all wrong. That is so far from the truth. I make mistakes every day, am I failure. Hell no because I focus on my gains and take time to fix what's not working.

If you and your life were perfect, then you can hang the rest of your life up and close it in a box because there's nothing else to work on. Do you want that life? No, you don't. You want imperfections so you have something to do in this life to fix, improvise, learn, make do, in this life. that's all anyone's got.

People don't change opinions of people that they know very often. so if you want people to approve of you, then go out and prove yourself. Leave where you are and be a success, so that you can return home in 10-20 years and show that you can make it anywhere. That is successful. that is why NYNY is such a powerful song, because it is so right.
