This site is totally abandoned and Yahoo is going down the drain.

The biggest thing they've done is making the word "Christmas" display in red and green colors. Hooray!

No.  People posting chat- like you- have hindered its improvement.

No and it has gotten worse.

  • No, it has not.  There was more communicating between staff and users and the email system was working properly for the site.

It's changed a lot and there were some improvements, but currently the site is not an overall improvement over past iterations (mostly because of the lack of oversite and proliferation of abusers). Since the site is for information seeking, it's unclear how answers to your question is useful information to anyone (since it's all subjective).

In my personal opinion as long as you keep the word yahoo in your name you're going to be thought of as a rude noisy violent person that is the dictionary definition of the word Yahoo! Personally if I own a business I would not be wanting to project the image of rude noisy and violent. It may be some improvement with Verizon having taken over they might be changing the name in the image sometime in the future to Verizon. That's one of the best improvements that could be made if you stop calling people to your website because of your name I think that in itself will improve things a lot.

nope. A lot of good users (Scrimshaw etc.) have left and we no longer have messaging or other stuff.
