What romance novels were written about someone the author had a crush on?

About a specific crush I'm not sure, but just like on Wattpad. There's a ton of wet dream type fantasies on their. You may have to dig through to find one that's coherent and well written, but there are some gems on there. It's just a place, mostly for young writers, so don't expect master pieces as everyone has to begin somewhere.

Hemingway's The Sun Also Rises is not a romance novel, but it supposedly was based on true events that happened in his circle of friends, and part of the storyline is about a romantic relationship.

Lady Caroline Lamb wrote a Gothic novel, "Glenarvon" published in 1816, in which the hero/villain was a thinly disguised portrait of the poet Byron with whom she had had a passionate affair.

It got her banned from polite society for a while. Byron, who had already left the country for a variety of reasons was not impressed.

"I read 'Glenarvon' too, by Caro Lamb...God damn!"

But the book was a success and went through several editions.
