What do I do when my friend shows me her art?

Just say, "that's beautiful! I really love xxx about it."

Point out one thing you really like. "I like the face", 'I like the pose', etc.

That's complicated it really depends on your friend. personally I don't care about that stuff, its nice. I don't draw art because I want to i'm not really looking for that. I just share my art because I feel I need to.

Compliment by saying what you like about it. Don't go over the top, but like think more about it when you analyze the art. What looks good? What do you find that appeals to you? What did she do a good job on? Stuff like that. You don't have to be complex with your compliments but like say what you like. 

"Analyze" it by complementing the elements of art(look it up).

Such as:

- Wow, the shading is excellent and provides a foid sense of balance.

- The texture on that surface looks amazing

- The informal balance makes it really appealing
