Why am i missing my periods?
Im 27. Sexually active. I missed my period two months in a row. Took at leasts 8 hpt and they all turned out to be negative. Im gaining weight but not even eating much. Anyone else had this happen? What could be the cause other than pregnancy. I plan on seeing a doc but want input

Are you on any new medications (including birth control?)
If you are not eating much, but still gaining weight it could indicate a thyroid concern. Over active thyroid burns fat, and under active thyroid stores fat.
You may want your physician to consider you for hypothyroidism. Testing for thyroid conditions may involve a blood draw to evaluate the level of thyroid hormones in your system. If it is this, the condition is easily treated with medication.
Keep a food journal for a week or two. Write down everything you consume (beverage or food.) This will help you gain a concrete idea of exactly what and how much you really are eating. Would be great info for doctor to have too.
It's also possible it could be something else. (I am not a doctor.) I encourage you to always do your own research! Trust your instincts & intuition.
Just a few thoughts. Hope you figure out what's up. Best of luck!
