When I'm registering on a new website and it gives me the opportunity to sign up with Facebook or Google or Twitter - isn't that dangerous?
Am I wrong in thinking that is essentially the same as using the same password for multiple sites - a big no-no? If it doesn't compromise security, how is it different?

The difference is that (when done correctly) the customer is sent to the other web site to confirm their identity and then bounced back to the original web site with a code that says they're for real. Nobody gets the actual password, and that code is no good anywhere else.
