What do I do if I downloaded a suspicious email attachment on my phone? ?

I got an email that was, in retrospect, clearly fake. I realized this before I opened the attachment but after I downloaded it. I deleted it right away, but I'm worried the damage was done by downloading it.

What should I do? If I'd downloaded it on my computer, I would run a virus scan. But my phone doesn't have any such program as far as I'm aware. (I have a Samsung Galaxy S5.)

    Delete. Close all apps. Power down, wait for 30 minutes. Power on.
