    The clitoral glans is partially covered by the clitoral hood. That's just some skin. The clitoris is primarily comprised of erectile tissue. When a person is aroused blood flow to the area increases, and the clitoris becomes more prominent. (bigger/more obvious/sticks out more) When unaroused it relaxes, and goes back to chillin' under the clitoral hood more. There's no "hole" that is lives in.
