Social distancing?

If you are not sick, why cant you pick up your meds yourself.  I dont know if your mom can visit you at this time.

Dear, if you have no symptoms then you do not have covid19. Do not take a prescription that you do not need. All drugs are poison. That's why there's a prescription. The word "medicine" comes from the name Medici. Medici studied poison. Some act fast, some slow. Some affect the heart, some the kidneys. They all kill. The trick is to give you something that kills your disease before it kills you. Do not take something that you don't need.

It would be safe for her to pick up the prescription and drop it off at your front door, and stay 2 meters away from the door as you open it up to talk to her. 

If the pharmacy has a drive through option, that would be the safest.  Either you and your baby or your mom could safely do that. 

Just because nobody has symptoms doesn't mean that you haven't been exposed, and it doesn't mean that you can't be a carrier. 

It is not safe to have your mother over for a few hours.  It is safe for her to run errands for you and drop them off but no physical touch and no actual social interaction.  She should not enter your home, and should stay a minimum of 2 meters away from you and your baby. 

Its really tough to not be able to get a hug from your mom or for grandma to not see her grandbaby, but its what has to happen for all of you to stay safe. 

She should not stay for hours. She should come and get what she needs and the leave. Social distancing applies to all people, unless they live in the same house.

That would be against the Governments guidelines and a really stupid thing to do if you your kid and your mother wish to stay safe........ nothing stops you phoning her getting her to collect your prescription but she should leave it at your door and leave/go home, you can see her through the window where you will all be observing the NOT visiting family/friends and the social distancing laws....... this virus is about life and death, so don't behave in a stupid way

Yes, of course people in families can take care of each others needs in a lockdown. I'm in California and we do it all the time. Stay healthy. Be sure to wash all hands and dump any bags from the store in the trash.

She could collect your prescription but she would then have to leave it on your doorstep and let you know tis there by knocking on the window and talking to you through it.  Unless you live with your mum, you have to keep apart I'm afraid.   She could stand outside talking to you from the 6 foot distance for however long she is able to.
