How do you talk to someone who stutters?

If someone has a very bad stutter and is trying to ask you a question but is clearly struggling to get it out, what do you do? Like if you can tell what they’re trying to ask before they finish their question, do you just answer it to save them the trouble of finishing? Or should you give them some dignity and let them finish their question before you answer?

Anyone can share their opinions but if you DO have a stutter, I’d love to hear your thoughts on this.

A member of my family had this. He was glad to have someone finish his sentence.

You need to ask the person what they prefer.

Let them finish. Interrupting is more likely to make them worse.

How about if both of you, and others, took up learning the "Sign Language" ?   Then you all would be able to communicate  with deaf people also?   No more stuttering.

Pray to God for more possibilities also.
