What boats accompany with the Naval Hospital Ships?

I know cruise ships need small boat to unload passengers before the ship fully docked in the seaport, but I don't know what kind of boats accompanied by the Naval Hospital?

Are they tug boats? Police guard boats? tourist boats? or part of the fleet's member ships?

Cruise ships only need tender boats at ports where they have to anchor and they don't go into the dock. The hospital ships don't need anything to transport people because they are going to docks. Looks like they need tugs to push them into the docks as they are old and don't have thrusters built into the hulls. Tugs don't go with ships, they stay in ports and get each ship that comes into the harbor.
