What is the name of that Mexican candy made out of brown sugar,leche, and honey, it's soft, beige, often with a pecan pressed in on top?
It's kind of like very sweet modeling clay in saran wrap, seems like it has sweetened condensed milk, crystallized honey, and sugar cone brown sugar.
It's got to have some other name besides, "Mexican Candy"!
Okay, I think Ya'll are missing the part where I'm saying that this candy is the consistency of play-doh, not at all crunchy, and not stretchy or gooey; picture something like a cheese log, like a cylinder of marzipan with a pecan half pressed in the side. I don't believe that it is baked. It's a lot like raw peanutbutter cookie dough...except that the flavor is on the spectrum between honey--brown sugar--sweetened condensed milk. Thanks!

If you're talking about what I think you are, It's basically like a wafer but in a circular form and it has like a caramel filling inside; There called Obleas.

I know the candy you mean, kind of like cajeta in solid form.
I've heard them called a lot of slang names, like Mexican Pecan Candy, Tex-Mex Pralines, like that.
Poking around online, they might be called Dulces De Nuez or Glorias.

what ever its called, you just described taffy.
Basic taffy recipe is sugar, syrup, and milk..sometimes butter.
Change up those items and you get slightly different flavor.
