How to find air pods?

Hey so I can’t seem to find my air pods anywhere and when I try to use find my iPhone the air pods device doesn’t come up under devices so if anyone has any ideas that could help it would be appreciated

    You put them in your helmet when you got off, then when you were carrying it across the parking lot they fell out and a raccoon found them.

    I lost my airpods a month ago so I feel your pain. Apple is **** at tracking airpods and the find my app is the only way do so. Even if they were under there, the tracking capability is extremely limited. You will probably have to buy a new pair :(
