How can i grow my own food for my chickens ?

    Plant a garden with greens lots and other veggies as well,,,,

    peppers(r)

    mellons any (r)

    tomatoes (r)

    bok-choy(r)

    cabbage (r-c)

    collards (r)

    peas (r-c)

    lettuce (r)

    pumpkins (r)

    spinach (r)

    squash (r-c)

    kale (r)

    sweet potatoes(c)

    turnips(c)

    zucchini (r-c)

    potatoes (c

    Note r& c stand for raw-cooked

    Grow wheat and leaves. Look up edible weeds for chickens.

    The easiest way is to pasture them and let them clean up the weeds and insect pests. They will also accept kitchen scraps as a small part of their diet (about 10%).
