How do you lower a subaru baja?

I have a 2005 subaru baja sport 5 speed manual transmission, I'm looking to spend about $500 to lower it a few inches , how? I heard something swapping my stock coilovers with some coilovers off of a stock forester ? Or off an outback?what year? Or should I just buy lowering coilovers off of Ebay? And also , is that all I need? Do I need anything else ? Thank you,  much appreciated. Might spend more money if needed.

It's ride will be like an old buckboard wagon after the fact. Good Luck!

If all you want to do is lower it a few inches, just let the air out of the tires.

The Baja has the same chassis as the Legacy sedan or wagon, which were lower than the Baja or Outback. Stick to years 05' thru 08'.
