Yes. Shape does not dictate edibility, so the fact that its a wheel is immaterial. Cheese of any shape is edible, except maybe for that sqaure plastic garbage they slap on burgers at McDonald's

No.  People make them for the sole purpose of throwing them in the bin.

Yes, many cheeses come in "wheels" but are cut up for sales.

Yes cheese wheels are edible but they taste really yucky to me! I hate the taste even though they are edible!  Hope this helped!
