Cables i'd have thought not, but electronics? Why would you spray ANY liquid onto electronics?

That would be a big NO NO in my book, whether they are powered or not!

Liquid + electric = FIZZBANG or minor irritations if you're lucky.

    ..........not likely

Yup, most are some sort of petroleum distillate. I use the stuff for flying bugs since it doesn't leave a heavy residue and kills all bugs.

If you set off a 'bug bomb', and ventilate according to the instructions after use, your electronics should be fine.

If you spray anything directly on, or into the electronics, you could cause damage.

Note: Even electronics cleaners usually say to disconnect all power before use and allow several hours for drying before reconnecting

It would fix your bugs in your car without damage. But running the car might start a fire.

I would not spray electronics with it.  You really don't want that stuff on it when you use it later also.
