    r₀ is the starting amount

    r(t) is the amount remaining after t years.

    I answered an almost identical question, from you, yesterday.  It's the same problem with slightly different numbers.

    You can follow the same steps and do this one.

    R(t) = 50 x (1/2)^(t/1690)

    Hence, when t = 970 we have:

    R(970) = 50 x (1/2)^(970/1690) => 33.6 grams

    A(t) = Ce^(-rt)

    At t = 0 there are 50 grams, so C = 50.

    A(t) = 50e^(-rt)

    at t = 1690, there will be 1690/2 = 25 grams.

    25 = 50e^(-1690r)

    25/50 = e^(-1690r)

    ln(25/50) / (-1690) = 0.000410146261 = r

    A(t) = 50e^(-0.000410146261t)

    A(970) = 33.5884 grams
